Ample Pizza

Exceptional pizza. From the dough to the toppings, it hit the spot. My only gripe is we received it barely warm. I got the pizzas as soon as the buzzer they give to notify your pizza is ready went off. It would have been much better hot but as a small business I’m sure notifying us may have got lost in the shuffle.

This is some of the best pizza I have ever had in my life!!! Simple and delicious and made using local ingredients. I could probably eat the crust plain with no toppings as it is truly exceptional. Great vegetarian options and they are able to substitute mushrooms in place of meat. The vibe is on point. This place never disappoints.

Amazing wood-fired, craft pizza that could convert even the most devoted frozen-pizza fan into a believer. The crust? Perfectly blistered. The toppings? Like they were handpicked by culinary angels who decided to trade heaven for the holler. Portions were generous enough that you leave full but not so stuffed you can’t climb into your side-by-side afterward. And yes, they even had appetizers and dessert. The outdoor dining vibe was perfect—rustic, cozy, and surrounded by those rolling WV hills that look like they’ve been Photoshopped. It’s the kind of spot where you can sip a craft soda, hear a banjo in the distance, and still catch the smell of that wood fire floating through the air. Sure, in Italy they’ve got piazzas, but here? We’ve got pickup trucks parked out front, someone’s uncle in camo, and pizza so good you’ll forget you came here for the view. If you’re looking for pizza that’s not just dinner but a whole West Virginia experience, this is it.

This is a MUST if you are in the area. So much so that we went two nights in a row! Cannot go wrong with any of the pizzas- they are all over the top delicious and perfectly made! Make sure to get there before they sell out! Appetizers and cookies are also amazing, so come hungry!

Ample Pizza is the real deal! They use local ingredients to create all kinds of delicious topping combinations (I wish I could have tried them all!) and then right in front of you they slide the pizzas into a wood fired oven, glowing orange from the coals, so the pizza gets the perfect level of crisp and crackly char to complement the chewy, flavorful crust yum!
